About UPLIFT
UPLIFT Public Charter Schools represents a forthcoming network of college preparatory campuses within the public school system, presently under development in Houston, TX. Commencing in the fall of 2028, our institution will warmly welcome scholars entering the 1st through 3rd grades. As we progress, our objective is to accommodate a student body of 900 individuals by the year 2035, extending our services to scholars from 1st to 12th grade.

At the helm of our endeavor is our CEO & founder, Julian L. Lewis and Co- Founder and Chief of Operations LaKis Sims. Their profound vision is to rekindle the essence of joy in learning. This aspiration is realized through meticulously crafted lessons and a commitment to fostering collaborative environments. Our daily brain break sessions provide students with the opportunity to indulge in activities they cherish within a secure setting. Notably, our offerings include a scholar video gaming cafe, basketball facilities, and a Student Chill lounge equipped with amenities such as air hockey, pool tables, and indoor pickleball courts, distinguishing our institution within the educational landscape.
